WORLD BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS, LIVERPOOL 2025

Delivering host broadcast for one of the largest amateur boxing competitions ever staged

Dynamic Broadcast & Production was appointed Host Broadcast Production supplier for the inaugural World Boxing Championships, designing and delivering the complete Host Broadcast workflow from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

The first event of it's kind, the 2025 World Boxing Championships saw 540 athletes from 68 competing nations taking part, generating truly global interest from rightsholders and sponsors alike.

We produced host coverage of over 500 bouts across 10 days and 19 sessions of action, including 14 sessions of multi-ring broadcasts, all streamed individually and delivered to 157 territories worldwide.

COMPETITION DRAW

The Competition Draw was the first opportunity for World Boxing to engage with their global audience from Liverpool.

We broadcast the draw live from site using our agile Dynamic Flypack setup, allowing for a fair, transparent process to be viewed by all federations via World Boxing's YouTube channel.

PRELIMINARY ROUNDS

Taking place over 14 sessions across 7 days of competitions, coverage of the preliminary rounds demonstrated our ability to deliver a high level of broadcast coverage using our compact, cost-effective Dynamic Flypack setup, without compromising on quality.

During this phase, competition took place across two rings, with each ring required to be broadcast simultaneously. For the host feed of each ring we delivered:

2-4 camera coverage
Dedicated commentary
Live timing and scoring info through integrating our bespoke graphics with the official data supplier
SRT delivery via BT Tower to all rightsholders
Production of daily highlights package and ISO angles, distributed to rightsholders

Additionally, we provided unilateral commentary positions for rightsholders via our broadcast rate card.

ENHANCED PRODUCTION - FINALS

As the competition reached its climax, the event scaled down to a single "show" ring, and our enhanced production added value to match the high level and high stakes of the boxing on show.

Building on our prelims productions, our uplift included:

Enhanced camera coverage including system cameras, RF ringwalk, and overhead PTZ
Enhanced audio spec including corner mics
Studio presentation for English language takers, including presenter, daily pundit, and high profile studio guests.
Integrated workflows with sports presentation to co-ordinate bout times, ceremonies, and special tributes
Provision of unilateral commentary and interview slots for rightshiolders via the broadcast rate card
